Last night the stars came out to celebrate the talent, passion and excellence of British and Irish Hairdressing at hair’s biggest night: Creative Head Magazine’s Most Wanted and The It List 2019 Awards.

Held at the spectacular Print Works in East London, UK, the evening wasn’t just about the Awards, it was an experience, with hair icons, innovators and top salon owners meeting and mixing with the future stars of hairdressing.

The evening was hosted by rising comedy star Lisa Omeilan, on stage with Creative Head Publisher, Catherine Handcock and editor, Amanda Nottage.

TIGI was, for the second year, very proud to sponsor the ‘Best Local Salon’ category, won by fashion-forward Aberdeen salon, Linton and Mac. Presenting the award, Chris Miller, TIGI Head of UK & Ireland, said: “We are proud to be the sponsor of this fantastic award. Our mission is to transform hairdressers into local heroes and empower them, to strengthen their salon businesses.”

As an added prize, TIGI is giving Linton and Mac the opportunity to have their very own photo shoot at Bed Head Studio, as well as an invitation to attend the next TIGI Session Course with Maria Kovacs.

It was a fantastic night for the Linton and Mac salon team with owner Jennifer Linton winning the ‘It List Entrepreneur’ Award and colourist Sarah Black bagging the ‘It Girl’ Award. Like many of the other winners and guests, we’re sure the team partied into the early hours.
