Androgyny and minimal glam were the focus of this season's hair at MFW.

This season, for his MACRO/MICRO Collection, De Vincenzo went bold and eccentric. Taking inspiration from a child’s uninhibited imagination to develop the idea of changing proportions with an explosion of differing shapes to create new rules from what is expected! The starting point of his collection was the exercise of putting a stiletto heel on a Xerox machine, and enlarging it to almost 200 percent until it reached an unrecognizable conical shape. He then translated this image into an actual pair of shoes that looked both cartoonish and rather ridiculous!

The Collection is personal and fun mixing the macro with micro with elements of androgyny.

Leading the Italian TIGI Session Team backstage at the show, Massimiliano Mattei. He created a daring interpretation of masculine hair textures utilising a wet-look effect. On short-haired models he worked with a low side parting, and on models with long hair, the hair was centrally parted. Styling was done flat to the head and on the long looks two small chignons were created at the nape.

To achieve the desired texture the Team applied Bed Head by TIGI Power Play Gel to the hairline to give a lacquered, shiny and bright effect.  On the hair-lengths, TIGI Copyright Create Texture Putty was applied to achieve a polished effect whilst keeping the texture soft and fresh.

Overall, the finished looks were deliberately lacquered to give an effect that was very shiny and bright, creating a strong shape that worked perfectly and emphasised the new Autumn/Winter Collection.
