Anthony’s personal favourite cut: the Undercut has become a classic shape that is youthful and strong, yet offers adaptability and choice in finishing techniques.
Over the years the Undercut and other disconnected styles have become more mainstream and commercial. This in part, is because of the versatility of the cut.
Today, it is often accentuated with colour to diffuse the strength of the cut or to create contrast. Latterly, pastel tones have updated the whole feeling of the Undercut and given it a fresh look, appealing to a new generation of salon clients. Importantly, the androgynous aspect and the rebellious mood is still retained.
