Hollywood heartthrob Zac Efron has been making headlines lately, not just for the recent release of his new film, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, but also because he has been rocking a new look.
From the floppy hair days of High School Musical through to the more recent pompadours and crops, Zac has been a constant inspiration for men’s hair trends and his new, edgier platinum blonde look is already making waves.

What you might not know is that the faded undercut complementing his new blonde hair colour was created by TIGI Americas Creative Director, Joel Torres, and we predict this on-trend men’s haircut is one that fans across the globe could be aiming to emulate in salons over the coming months.
FUSE has managed to get the inside scoop on Zac Efron’s haircut from Joel, whose barbering expertise is second to none. We think your male clients will be queuing up for this hot haircut and style this summer.
“Zac’s haircut is an undercut, which I created using clippers. I firstly created a mid-fade and then point cut the top area for a natural look. After this, I utilised personalisation by razor cutting to give separation at the ends.
Before starting the cut I applied Bed Head for Men Lion Tamer as a cutting lotion. To recreate his look, cocktail Matte Separation Wax together with either Slick Trick or the Bed Head Stick.”
